The files in this archive have been created by Access 2 Networks. Use to perform routine maintenance on your IPSO device.

The files included in this archive are are:

  • backup - file backing and compressing the files listed in the backuplist file.
  • backuplist - list of files to be backed up by the backup script.
  • cleanup - used to delete files in certain directories that are old.
  • .netrc - used by conf-ftp and fwlog-ftp.
  • conf-ftp - used to ftp the backed up and compressed config files to an ftp server.
  • fwlog-ftp - used to ftp compressed log files to the server then deletes the logs files.
  • logswitch - one step command to run 'fw logswitch' making it easier to cron it.
These should be put into the crontab and run on a regular basis to keep your firewall running smoothly.
