NOKIA - SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (NSA)
This course introduces the security administrator to the Nokia Applications Platform (NAP), providing the information and experience necessary to deploy and manage the Nokia family of security products. Hands-on exercises enable students to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of NAP and how to use it effectively to manage the IP security environment.

Course Objectives:
Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define Nokia firewall and routing terminology
  • Identify the fundamental design considerations for the Nokia IP Network Application platforms
  • Use the Checkpoint Firewall-1 management server and firewall agent installation
  • Use RealSecure for Nokia intrusion detection appliance
  • Enable high availability through redundant firewalls
  • Use troubleshooting tools and administrative procedures

Prerequisites:

  • Knowledge of inter networking concepts, networking concepts and topologies
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, network addressing, and subnet masks
  • Knowledge of basic router concepts relating to Layer 3 of the OSI model, including RIPv1 and v2, and static routes
  • Understanding of the OSI model
