NOKIA - SECURE ACCESS SYSTEM
The Introduction to Nokia Secure Access System provides students with the skills necessary to install, configure and deploy Nokia Secure Access System in an enterprise environment. The Nokia Secure Access System solution enables secure and reliable connectivity that utilizes industry leading encryption technologies and enables access from any devices equipped with an SSL- enabled browser. This one-day instructor-led course also includes lab exercises that emphasize and reinforce the operational skills necessary to effectively install, manage and deploy Nokia Secure Access System.

 
Who should attend?

Technical persons tasked with support, installation, deployment or administration of Nokia Secure Access System should attend this course. This could include System administrators, Resellers, Network engineers and Technical support staff. 

Course objectives:

 

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:

" Evaluate the benefits of extending secure remote access to customers and employees
" Describe the main features and benefits of Nokia Secure Access System
" Describe the differences between SSL remote access and IPSec VPN solutions
" Describe the authentication, authorization and audit features of Nokia Secure Access System
" Diagram the deployment scenarios for Nokia Secure Access System
" Install Nokia Secure Access System on a Nokia IP Security Platform
" Configure the global settings of Nokia Secure Access System
" Perform administrative tasks such as: creating users, configuring authentication, configuring port forwarding resources, etc.
" Install appropriate licenses on Nokia Secure Access System
" Configure Nokia Secure Access System to use server Certificates and user Certificates
" Perform maintenance tasks such as: reviewing and generating log/audit reports, backing up and restoring system configuration files, and monitoring status overview

Prerequisites: 
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including network topologies

  • Understanding of the OSI model of networking
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, network addressing, and subnet masks
  • Completion of or familiarity with the content of Nokia Security Administration (NSA) course
